Note to all defensive players - if that whistle hasn't gone and that ball is snapped, get the quarterback!

You'll notice that the ball was snapped and then the QB wanders off with the ball, so the ball is, indeed, live.

I think its a little unfair because you can guarantee that if someone tackled him while he was walking, it would have been flagged.

Not really in the sporting interests of the game.
