Vegetables are bad for you.

I mean you only ever see fat people eating salad and drinking diet coke ... so it must be bad for you.

Stick with our training marcus, i honestly think its the best thing to do, it will be better strength, and cardio-vascular training than going for walks.

Check with someone at the gym, or with your doctor, but i suspect they will say the same thing.

Paddy: spoke to Steve earlier via pm and I'll be doing both, just taking it easy at first (so if you see me slacking, it'll because I've reached the limit, not because I'm lazy). Steve gave me a suggested regime to get started on which is better than what I was doing in some ways and more lenient than mine in others. I'm going to adjust his in one way though, I'm going to continue with squats so I can build up my leg muscles... I think us linemen need as good a leg muscles as we can get.

Good for you Jaap... I'm too weak willed to go all the way myself (I'm afraid I like my meat too much), but I've had to be pretty damned close in recent years thanks to the gout problems and the dietry requirements.

Hi Marcus, sorry to say I've never really had a chance to talk to u yet at training & don't want to tell u what to do.All I would say is keep coming to practice when u can & do as much as u feel able,at the end of the day this is meant to be fun!If you're not enjoying it then you're more likely to start skipping sessions.

Everyone has to start somewhere,so don't be intimidated or feel u don't measure up as it all comes with practise.Besides we need a big lad like u at DT,just to keep our OL on their toes Smile

Hope to see u at training some time soon & Happy Birthday
