Fund Raiser
Lets try and get a fund raiser organised,
Do you think the league would allow us to play a game against a rugby league team? Half american football and half Rugby?
Maybe against Barrow, or Workington?
We will probably loose but it might be good publicity.

Re: Fund Raiser
Apart from getting completely and utterly creamed by the rugby team in the rugby half, no matter how bad Workington are, I doubt you would be able to get any rugby league team (i assume that's what you are on about) would do it. Apart from insurance this close to the start of the season no team would risk it. I think the amateur season goes on for a fair bit more as well.

We don't have enough kit and it would take forever trying to teach an entire team the rules. Why don't you just shut up paddy and stop talking rubbish. I hate you.
Only joking, would we be aloud to do it because of the league?

Re: Fund Raiser
We could do a sponsered bed push with collection buckets.
How about pushing a bed from Cornwall to Cumbria with Marcus and his Mum on it.
That way it would get Marcus up here quicker and his Mum could become the lineman's chef coz if Marcus can put 7 stone on in a couple of months it must be down yo good old home cooking and if we are short on linemen we could convert any member of the squad within a few weeks.
Or we could just do a supermarket collection, using the whole line to block the exit and then people would have to pay to get out.
Or how about a sumo car wash we get all the linemen in nappies and the public would have to pay say £4 to have their car washed by them.

No Nellie, No i would not, not being a lineman and all... But I think those guys would secretly enjoy it. Plus we'll put dave in there for good measure as he doesn't need an excuse to commit indecent exposure
