Equipment Retailers Sticky? Empty Equipment Retailers Sticky?

Post  Craig Fri Jan 18, 2008 5:16 pm

I was just wondering with people still wanting to buy kit and others wanting to buy extras such as arm pads and gloves, whether it would be worth having a sticky thread in which we can add which websites we have used to buy kit. For example cheapest prices or good service. We've had a few posts saying people wanted to start and others with ebay auctions so we could maybe consolidate it into one thread. It could save people a lot of time and money.

Sounds like a good idea. The better one I have used was firstand ten.com (I think thats right web address). A bit priceier, but service is good and unlike the frogs you get it quicker affraid

www.epsportswear.co.uk - Don't have much of a range but Cutters gloves were the cheapest I found and sell some American football specific under armour stuff too.. Quick delivery also.

I've just ordered some McDavid hexpad knee/elbow pads off of www.keeperskit.co.uk. The same ones as in american sports but £10 cheaper.

www.kitlocker.co.uk - Sell a lot of the McDavid stuff.

www.newitts.com - Cheapest place I found for the hexpad forearm pads.

Please note that I'm bidding on this one - BFalcon001 is my ID.

It might be a little too large in the long-term, but I'm going to give it a try.

He DOES have other pads - including an XL FB/LB pad also starting at 20 quid.

Just to point out - anything bought will be (apparently) going to a trust, so might be worth picking up some jerseys just for practice if nothing else...

This is a shop, but I think it's a limited supply sale, so I'll be letting the moderators know when they're all done so that they can delete these messages.

ebay seller is: rex20a
shop name: teeleaf golfwear (yes, this one raised my eyebrows too).

I don't know if he's put all his kit on as auctions, but he's put three sets of pads and a whole load of facemasks up and has hinted at a load of jerseys and pants from another team. They were apparently bought for a Leicester Panther reunion game.

I thought it might be better to do a temporary post here than keep spamming new threads - 1 post the mods could then remove once all the auctions are done but might get two players some new kit for a decent price. Smile
