This is truly terrible news, and has come as a massive shock

I can say with confidence that Mark was one of our most popular players and we were all looking forward to his debut, not just because he is a great player but also because he was a great guy.

All our best to Young-un's family and friends he will be missed greatly as a player and person.

Although I haven't been with the Mariners for that long, it was obvious that Mark was a special talent, not only as a player, but also as a person. He will be a tremendous loss to all who knew him.

Mark will be sadly missed, my thoughts are with his family at this time.
