just a thaught to share ideas im sick of my one not a cookery thread!
if at home
cereal for beakfast with yogurt & orange juice
pasta tin of chopped tomatoes garlic bacon and tuna, wid pureed bannanas and milk pig
bananas before changing (ive bin told it helps to stop cramp)

i once tried a mars bar but spewed it up after 5 minutes pale

or what do you eat before training? i eat whatevers lying around! elephant

just thinking cos iv not really travelled far to games

Check out www.pimpthatsnack.com for all pre game food suggestions.

I dont eat before training.

And before a game ill probably have a bowl of cereal in the morning and thats it until after the game.

i drink a milk shake called, my goodnesshakes before training its like a muscle food and doesnt fill u up to much
i usually have it around 1hr before training
i sometimes have one for brekkie when i start at 4am and i dont get hungry till noon ish

u'd also need to think of hydrating and rehydrating your fluids pre game and post. foodwise as said by someone else said - pasta and protein mix(fish is best but there is others as u might know), i would say take sum bananas along fresh as well as the bruised ones. fresh ones release energy later on in the digestion and the bruised ones are for a short term fix( not like a sugar rush tho, a little longer). also something sugary for that quicker release of energy. later

If I have time on the morning I try to have porridge with some honey and/or some dried fruit like raisins,just to sweeten it up (don't like adding refined sugar if I can avoid it).Then at least an hour before the game I have something simple like tuna & pasta,just to keep the energy levels up.

I would also agree with the suggestion that you should drink plenty of fluids before hand,it's surprising how much you can loose during a game!!
