Thats the Workington reds. With local support they could get stronger and be a league team again.

Julian mate your local team aren't W/Ton Reds it's St. Bees, mine is Parton Utd. who I not only support but play for, in fact I scored probably the best goal I've ever scored (and there's been many) against St. Bees. I'm off to reminisce

Local semi pro's anyways.

I played for st bees for 3 years, quit when I scored a goal. Knew it would never, ever happen again. It was against frizington white star about 8 years ago. Fluked in off a deflection off my thigh. Winning goal. Thats was it, had to go out on the top, quit that very day. The keeper was gutted. There was people in the team who played in defense and had never scored a goal all their lives, people with skill!!!

I'll have to go and do my own phoenix from the flames later.
