If you have anything missing please let me know asap, we have 5 days to put it rite.
Aim to arrive at the stadium about 11 o clock on Saturday this is when the referee's will arrive and gives us time to get warmed up etc.
Match day subs are £15 Payable on the day

Re: Saturday
Are you really asking what the fuck 15 pound subs are about?
It costs us shit loads to put a fucking game on and asking why the fuck you should have to pay is not the right way ask your team mates if will absorb your part of the hundreds of pounds it costs us to set a game up for you to play in.
I'm sure no one minds paying an extra 50p so you can play so don't writing up on the forum as if we're trying to rob you. We're not in the NFL the money has to come from somewhere.
If you go play for other teams eg Gateshead it will cost you £300 just to register with the club

Re: Saturday
The truth of the matter is butch for the away game is costs us £520 for a coach and for each home game it costs us over £600.
With no money in the kitty someone has to pay for it. And I am not paying for it all.
Next year we will have annual subs which will cover all of the match and training costs.
The club cant pay for everything

Re: Saturday
As the oracle says the club can't pay it all. If we can get businesses and the like to sponsor us then it would be easier on the pocket of the players, but at the moment that isn't the case.
If everyone stumps up then it makes it easier to fund.

Re: Saturday
Paddy: any idea on how much the subs will be and when you'll want them by?
I might need to start saving soon, that's all.
And Butch... how can you go out drinking and then complain about 15 quid for the match? It's not like we're playing a full season yet - just the two games. If nothing else, can't you ask your parents for a loan, since it's for something you consider important?

Re: Saturday
The match subs are £15 as mentioned before.
Subs next year will be dependent on sponsorship and grants etc. So i dont know yet.
Club running costs for next year are going to be around £10k

Re: Saturday
hmm ok, so potentially we're talking 100's of pounds - I'd best get saving a bit when I can - it won't hurt if I'm over, after all.
How're we doing for equipment? We got the chain gang and field bits sorted I assume?

Re: Saturday
Butch: sorry man - forgot you were under 25 and got stiffed on the amount you get - when I was there, it was 38 and 4 of that used to have to go to top up the rent, so I know what you mean. And yeah, I'm on the dole too, so no need to remind me about how much it sucks.
Didn't say "always" - just that you've been out - don't ya know that us guys on the dole aren't allowed a life?
(and yes, I am looking for work before anyone says anything about sponging - not driving is a real pain in the arse).
