New QB

Hot off the Press:

The Cumbria Mariners unveiled their new Quarter-Back tonight at their new Thursday night training venue.

Mill Tofts, Maryport was the scene where new QB Jaap "71%" Fielden set the standard for the existing quota of QB's at the Mariners disposal.

The Brett Favre lookalike showed that he doesn't only resemble the Packers legend in facial hair but in his ability as well.

Club President Paddy Gorrill was moved to tears at the end of the session as he sobbed "I don't fucking believe it!"

No word has been heard from First Choice QB Dan "70%" Fielden but we have it from a reliable source that he has gone into intense training somewhere in the East Midlands.

No snap fumbles either Marco...we're onto a winning combo here!!!

Just dont try another flea fucking flicker!

I am sure that the first pass you tried to make was picked off by me & returned for a touch down??

Also Hoop picked one off & also returned it for a touch down big man!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Good session last night, it was fun and nice to see so many linemen training.

You all have nothing to worry about I'm gonna sort the QB situation out when I am walking again. I know its talk right now, however I am going to stick to my words!

Even Favre, the Mannings, Brady, Elway, Montana and the great Jim McMahon get/got picked off Tommy. Gimme a copule of weeks and Jaap Favre wil be the greatest QB in Mariners history

I wouldn't worry about this Jaap, as long as he's aiming right at you he'll miss (and it'll likely hit one of the defence, right in the numbers) :-)
