The Game

As you should all know by now we have a game against Clyde Valley Falcons at Clyde on sunday the 13th of April (pending our league registration). By then you all must have full leg sets (2xhip, 1xtail, 2xknee and 2xthigh), shoulder pads and of course a helmet. If you do not have any of these, or the ability to borrow them from the club (we have no leg pads) you will not be able to play. If you have no helmet that is ok as you can swap with someone off the field. You must also have white game pants to put your leg pads in. Everyone should have all this kit by now but if you havent I would order it asap from american sports as they have the fastest delivery and it would be a shame for you not to be let on the field after training for so long and buying the rest of your kit.
Anyone who has not handed their forms in MUST have it to phil by the end of this week (only fully complete forms will be taken - no photo/cheque = no game) We need to have at least 22 playing players at training for the remaining 7 sessions before the game. We have not even thought about the 3rd section of the game yet, special teams, and need everyone at training when we get on grass to try out for that.
Everyone who plays ANY offence and anyone with enough experience/skill should learn our Offensive play books and it pressumably goes the same for the D.
Get anyone you know who has been at training before to make sure they are there for these 7 sessions as we are not ready for the game now.

This close to our first game people should not be missing session for anything other than work. Even if you are injured get to training and learn. If you are in a band playing some gay tuba or whatever sack it off you have more important things to be doing for this team for the next 3 weeks.

April 13 will be the day the Falcons are introduced to some Brutal Truth Dan!!!!!!!

You have to go and organise it for when the mighty Haven are playing at home, 'tis a tad inconsiderate, I might not be able to play now.

I agree dude. However I believe that most of us are converted and make as many as we can. There are 9 sessions between now, 11 march, and the 13th of April. Of which I will miss 2.

Are we going to have jerseys ready for the game or are we just going to be in blue that we all should have?

Yeah more linemen will be good. Also once the numbers get consistant we need to be able to rep through some positions.

I won't mind doin special teams.

Why do you all want to play the Falcons junior team. I'd much rather play the Eagles senior team. Although I do think Butch would rather play with young boys.

is it a requirement to wear the thigh pads? if so i'll av to get a belt that fits.
if we need th blue shirts i'll av to sort 1 of those out aswell cudn't get 1 to fit b4.

aint got no white pants yet, so if they dont come by then count me out also have we to get our own game tops? ie with numbers on ?

Dan/Steve can you confirm if we have to purchase our own game tops or are the club doing a team order?

The club will be sorting out game shirts so don't worry about that! I'll get the numbers from the website and guess everyones sizes. Also don't worry too much about having the right colour game pants atm as long as everyone has all the pads in something it will be fine. Just stand behind someone for the team photo!

Don't guess the sizes ask them and they will tell you!

wifey is rescuing my navy jersey(barnett type) as i type this but its not the same colour as steves also my number is down as #92 is this eligible for o-line

I'll have to take me Barnett top of the pads and wash it then!! I'll just have to us my Dunn shirt, he's been cut so it doesn't matter if it gets ruined now! Oh that and someone borrowed my white jersey and hasn't returned it!
