TRAINING CAMP IDEA
I came up with an idea for training camp last night;
rather than just going somewhere for a couple of night, why dont we
(just an example)
have one day in, say barrow and one in carlisle.
try and advertise these days a is training camps and try out days.
if we have a couple of 3 hour closed training sessions and a couple of 3 hour open sessions for anyone locally to try football out. This may help promote the team and recruite new members, whilst still getting some training and bonding done. We could also have a visible presence out on these towns during the night with aur t shirts on, and why not get some cards of flyers printed out?
We could try and get local rags in the areas to help us promote, even contact CFM and beg for their help.
Earlier in the year we were talking of doing some publicity stunts, why not combine the 2 together and try to raise our profile.

Re: TRAINING CAMP IDEA
I like the idea of some training sessions at other places to promote the team.
(Carlisle, Barrow, Workington, Kendal)
But I also like the idea of a training camp. I see no reason why we cant do both.

Re: TRAINING CAMP IDEA
I like Dave's idea of a youth hostel in the lakes or summat, cheap and no chance of escape plus no distractions
