Re: Mariners
CV Open Day for Rookies is on October the 3rd and then we have a testing day the week after. Training starts on the 18th.
3rd October - Clyde Valley Open Day/Fun Day
11th October - Testing Day
18th October - First Practice for 2010 Season
If you want a lift up for the rookie day on the 3rd Marco i can give you a lift if Fysh and Iain arn't going.

Re: Mariners
Hi all
I won't be up for a drink, sadly, due to my placement (ie middle of nowhere), the fact that I get even more depressed when around people drinking alcohol when I can't and I'm flat broke anyhow.
Good luck all those who go up to the open days - if I thought for one second I could make it up to CV regularly, I'd be there like a shot if SonofMatt thought he'd want my fat arse.
Unfortunately, not driving, I struggled enough getting up to Maryport, let alone CV.
Not a day goes by when I don't regret stepping down as a player, so think carefully before you pass up a chance to play again guys - I miss being a Mariner more than anything else (except, possibly, the chance to eat a burger and quaff a beer without wondering how many days pain I'll be in).
If you ever get enough to get a minibus going up regularly, yell... I might be able to scrape up enough for a new helmet and the registration... and even if not, I've got the camera - I might be of SOME use.
